Howard Birnbaum, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Birnbaum joined Hudson Health Plan as Chief Financial Officer in 1998. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting from Baruch College; shortly thereafter he passed the CPA examination.

After initially working at a CPA firm, he held various financial roles at the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. He was heavily involved in developing and budgets for all the Corporate Hospitals. For the last seven years of his tenure there, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Elmhurst Hospital Center as well as Chief Financial Officer of the Queens Health Network which consisted of three major facilities in Queens County.
